Fireworks (Unity Particle System)

Inspired by a tutorial on Random Art Attack, as well as testing Unity 2018.1's particle emit from texture sample function, this video shows the flexibility of the particle system I created and how it goes beyond the standard particle explosion.

Consists of 3 parts

-Emitter that spawns a single (or multiple) particles with star trail sub emitter and trails enabled
-Explosion to emit on death of emitter particle
-SparkleDust emits on explosion particle death

Created simple sprite sheet for star trail animation
Explosion can be linked to low poly mesh render to spell out words or make shapes (smiley faces, soccer balls, etc)
